Steve Andrews is the Managing Director for Advantage Australia.
Steve has thirty years’ FMCG experience, with twenty years managing Sales teams and large account relationships for blue chip FMCG suppliers, and ten years in General Management roles for FMCG-based insights companies.
In 2018, Steve joined the Advantage Australia team and has since pioneered development of the Advantage service into Foodservice, Specialty Pet and Ecommerce channels, adding to the effective ongoing management of Advantage programs across Grocery, Pharmacy and Liquor.
Steve is passionate about helping clients achieve mutually successful commercial outcomes with trading partners and believes wholeheartedly in a philosophy of pragmatic collaboration between retailers, wholesalers and distributors with suppliers.
Steve regularly advises the top 30 manufacturers and top 10 retailers in Australia.
Matt Albion
Allan Hood
Allan is the Chief Executive Officer of Bulla Dairy Foods - an iconic Australian family owned dairy company, which has been operating for more than 108 years.
Allan was formally appointed in July 2015 as the CEO at Bulla Dairy Foods (Bulla). After transitioning from the role of CFO, which he held for just over a year, Allan’s mission as CEO is focused on leading the transformation of Bulla. This involves; refocusing Bulla’s strategy; building alignment and engagement across all 750 employees; increasing domestic market share; the development of the next generation of amazing Innovation, forming new partnerships for Bulla’s export markets and leading Bulla’s entry into the direct sourcing of farm gate milk.
Prior to arriving in Australia, Allan gained global experience with Diageo PLC, where he worked for over 20 years. During this time, Allan was based in the UK and across many of Diageo’s emerging markets such as Dubai, India, Jamaica and Tanzania. Allan is a Chartered Accountant having qualified through the Scottish Institute.
Allan is married to Elaine and they have two children, Euan and McKenzie, who have adapted very well to the Aussie way of life.

Paul Foster
Paul Foster has over 20 years of experience in leading large scale manufacturing businesses; with extensive experience in strategy, marketing and sales.
Originally from Wales Paul joined George Weston Foods in 2013 as the Tip Top Sales Director in Australia, where he led the transformation of field sales through new technology, sales capability and a new approach to customer engagement.
In 2019, he became the managing director of MAURI ANZ to lead and grow the business with a vision of digitalisation, before taking on the role of Chief Executive at George Weston Foods in late 2023.
Paul has a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Computer aided Chemistry, 1st Class Honours from The University of Manchester.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is an avid traveller, often exploring new destinations on his motorbike. He is also passionate about yoga and meditation, which contribute to his holistic approach to leadership and life.
Shannon O'Connell
The Corporate: A Commerce graduate of the University of Sydney,Trish Pegorer is an FMCG sales and marketing specialist with over 25 years' experience, 13 of those years spent working global market leading Italian FMCG brands, Mutti & Monini. Trish launched Mutti into the Australian retailmarket in 2011 and Monini in 2014 and has been instrumental in the rapid growth of both brands in the retail sector, now worth a combined RSV of $90mil.
In 2019 Trish was appointed Managing Director of Mutti Australia Pty Ltd which is now the 3rd largest export market for the Mutti Group ($1bil AUD) and the largest market outside of Europe. She is accountable for developing the strategic growth roadmap for future expansion for Australia, leading a team of senior sales and marketing specialists charged with growing range, distribution and brand through Food Service, Independent retailers, and Major Grocery channels.
In recent years Mutti Australia has garnered the attention of the industry, achieving an Advantage Score of 51 (rank #2) Dry Grocery in 2022, and 46 (rank #5) in 2023. In 2022 Mutti Australia was also awarded Woolworths Grocery Supplier of the Year and was one of 4 nominees for Woolworths Overall Supplier of the Year and in 2024 awarded Woolworths Best Marketing Campaign of the Year. Most recently Trish has led the brand to market leadership in Australia in Canned Tomatoes & Total Shelf Stable Tomatoes (Red Sector).* (Circana MAT 12/11/23)
The Activist: Beyond her capabilities as a leader in FMCG, Trish is also a passionate advocate for people and projects of purpose with a driving passion to channel her energy and strengths to make a positive impact to the issues we face as people and planet – climate, health and more. She is a board director and active contributor to Climate Force, an NGO based in The Daintree, FNQ, that develops and organic reforestation methodologies to support the acceleration of environmental and community resilience.
She is also the driving force behind the national roll out of the Veggie Buddies 10 week play based primary school curriculum that teaches kids about the source of the food, embedding healthy food habits in a child’s formative years.
Her business acumen is also extended to her role as Strategic Advisor for social enterprise, Giwewrap™, wrapping paper the gives 50% profits to charity.
The Mum: Trish is also a loving mother of two energetic teenage boys and balances her drive and ambition with spending down time outdoors in nature, practicing yoga and being involved in local charity and community initiatives.
Leanne White
Leanne White is a highly experienced retail leader with over 25 years in the industry and has extensive experience in Merchandise, Supply Chain, Operations, and held multiple senior management positions across Fresh Food, Ambient Food and Non-Food. Leanne has driven significant results within Coles’ Frozen, Bakery and Pantry businesses before being appointed General Manager in December 2019. As General Manager, Leanne has been leading Coles Supermarkets’ largest business units (Grocery and Health & Home) delivering strong results through customer-centric strategies, omni-channel acceleration, market-leading value programs, and product innovation. Passionate about building high-performing teams and long-term partnerships, Leanne thrives on solving customer challenges and driving change at pace. Her career is defined by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering impact in Australia’s retail landscape.
Sam Mostapha
Sam drives Red Bull’s strategic initiatives and creates the cultural framework for success across the Australian market. His journey with Red Bull began in April 2008, as the Head of Grocery with the responsibility of setting up a new Grocery sales function after taking back the distribution rights from Asahi (then Schweppes). He became the Director of Sales in November 2013 and played a pivotal role in strengthening the category and brand’s presence, managing all channels of trade. In January 2021 Sam was appointed Area Off Premise Head for the Asia-Pacific region, where he adeptly oversaw a significant segment of Red Bull’s international market, spending time setting up and growing key Asian markets (including Australia).
Before his Red Bull tenure, Sam’s career began in 2000 at Kellogg’s Australia, steadily progressing to the Head of the Woolworths Account by April 2008. During his time, he developed a deep understanding of Key Account, Field Sales, Category Management, Demand Planning, Marketing, Retail dynamics and customer service.
Sam balances his professional commitments with a love for running and football, pursuits that align with Red Bull’s spirit of active living. Paul Serra
Paul Serra became Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of SunRice Group in August 2023. Paul is an accomplished leader with extensive global experience in the growth and transformation of complex and diverse organisations.
Prior to joining SunRice, Paul worked at a number of agri-business and FMCG companies including most recently as Managing Director North America (USA and Canada) of Olam Food Ingredients. He has also held senior executive roles at Campbell Soup Company and operational roles at The Arnott’s Group ANZ.
Paul has demonstrable experience in delivering financial outcomes in the agri-business, food ingredients and FMCG sectors, as well as in the areas of supply chain management, people leadership, business transformation, health and safety, and operations. Paul holds an honours degree in engineering from The University of Queensland.
